Sportsbet.io expands reach in Africa with four new ambassadors

The choice of ambassadors, three of whom are Nigerian, reflects Sportsbet.io’s strategy to engage Africa’s tech-savvy youth.

Nigeria.- Crypto betting platform Sportsbet.io has added four new ambassadors to its “Join the Crypto Experience” program. The new entrants include Kofoworola Adetimilehin, Benjamin Dimah, Rachel Ochanya and MC Galaxy.

On August 25, 2025, the operator hosted a virtual event to formally introduce the four new ambassadors to the initiative. The event featured video presentations, Q&A sessions and crypto betting demonstrations. It highlighted the company’s “fun, fast and fair” ethos and its growth since it was founded in 2016 under Yolo Group

Kofoworola Adetimilehin, known as Rola, is a Nigerian football commentator and podcaster hosting “Sideline Insights with Rola” where she offers Premier League analysis and fan-focused content. Benjamin Dimah, or Benopaonyx, is a crypto and gaming influencer passionate about educating global audiences about digital assets and making crypto betting more accessible.

Rachel Ochanya, the 2025 Face of Hope Beauty Pageant winner, combines style and sports advocacy to attract younger audiences. MC Galaxy, a Nigerian entertainer nicknamed “The Oracle” for accurate football predictions on WhatsApp, brings music and comedy from his “Sekem” fame.

The choice of these ambassadors, three of whom are Nigerian, reflects Sportsbet.io’s strategy to engage Africa’s tech-savvy youth. These new endorsers will leverage their influence to promote Sportsbet.io’s features and promotions. Their roles will include creating content around football, crypto education and lifestyle on platforms like X and TikTok that will drive engagement and attract new users to the platform.

The “Join the Crypto Experience” program,” launched in 2023, connects traditional sports betting with digital currencies through a diverse influencer roster. Previous ambassadors include Nigerian football legend Nwankwo Kanu, NBA player Tristan Thompson and Tanzanian music duo Navy Kenzo.

In May 2025, the platform added five new influencers to the list, including Kanebi Ndukwu, Najafi Hamza, Youssef Bikhri, Mohammed Amin Bennani and Michael Ademolu. With more than two dozen ambassadors, the program targets regions like Nigeria and Kenya, where igaming and crypto adoption are expanding rapidly.
