Responsible gambling symposium set to take place in Lagos
The symposium will bring together regulators, researchers and other industry stakeholders.
Nigeria.- Independent non-profit organisation Gamble Alert is partnering with the Association of Nigerian Bookmakers and Aropsaid Technologies Limited to host a responsible gambling symposium in Lagos.
The event, which features the theme “Building a sustainable industry through responsible gaming practices”, will take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the NECA House Events Centre in Ikeja, Lagos.
The symposium will bring together experts, including regulators, researchers and mental health experts to discuss strategies for fostering responsible gaming initiatives and tackling the challenges posed by problem gambling.
Attendees will participate in plenary sessions and practical workshops that promote responsible gaming practices.
A statement from the organisers read: “The symposium is aimed at providing insights into the latest research, tools and innovative strategies that empower both gaming companies and stakeholders to prioritise player safety and well-being.
