LONASE reinforces governance and strategic priorities
The board meeting brought together LONASE’s leadership as the operator reiterated its commitment to rigorous management and sustainable performance.
Senegal.- Senegal’s National Lottery operator, LONASE, held a Board of Directors meeting on October 29, chaired by Moustapha Camara, chairman of the board of directors, to consolidate its strategic priorities and reinforce its role in the country’s economic and social development.
The meeting was attended by LONASE director general Abdourahmane Baldé, according to a statement. “Through its decision-making bodies, LONASE continues its commitment to rigorous management, sustainable performance, and increased contribution to national priorities,” the operator said.
As Senegal’s state-owned lottery operator, LONASE manages the country’s lotteries and games of chance, generating revenue for the state and supporting public development initiatives. Its contribution to national priorities makes governance and sustainable performance central to its strategic direction.
The meeting follows LONASE’s efforts to strengthen responsible gambling measures. In September 2026, the operator announced plans to establish an integrated addiction-care centre as it works towards Level 3 of the World Lottery Association’s Responsible Gaming programme.
