LONASE opens new agency in Diourbel
The new facility forms part of the organisation’s commitment to bringing its services closer to customers.
Senegal.- Senegal’s national lottery operator LONASE has inaugurated a new agency in the central city of Diourbel as part of its ongoing efforts to modernise its retail network and improve access to services across the country.
The new agency was officially opened on Thursday, June 11, 2026, during a ceremony attended by regional administrative officials, business partners, vendors, betters and other stakeholders.
Dr Toussaint Manga, LONASE director general, led the inauguration, describing the new facility as part of the organisation’s commitment to bringing its services closer to customers and strengthening its presence in local communities.
According to LONASE, the Diourbel agency has been designed as a modern service centre aimed at providing improved customer service, easier access to products and a better overall user experience.
The company said the project reflects its broader strategy of modernising its operational network while supporting its public service mission and long-term development objectives. As part of that effort, LONASE has opened new agencies in Bignona and Kaffrine and announced plans to modernise its Kaolack branch.
Speaking during the event, officials highlighted the importance of the Diourbel region, which is located in Senegal’s central-western area and is considered a key economic and population centre.
The inauguration programme included remarks from representatives of local authorities, the agency management team, and traditional communicators, before addresses by the LONASE director general and regional government representatives.
LONASE said the opening of the new agency demonstrates its continued investment in regional infrastructure and its ambition to expand the reach of lottery services throughout Senegal.
