LONACI hands out 65.6 million FCFA to two lucky winners
Combined, the duo won 65,651,900 FCFA (€100,085), ranking among the biggest winners in LONACI history.
Côte d’Ivoire.- The National Lottery of Ivory Coast (LONACI) has presented two lucky players, who won the PMU jackpots for June 29 and July 7, 2025, with their prizes during a ceremony held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
The event, which took place at the Board of Directors room of the LONACI headquarters in Marcory, was chaired by Abdoulkarim Ouattara, deputy general manager of LONACI, and attended by several department heads, including the director of marketing and customer experience, Cheick Oumar Diarra.
The two players, who chose to remain anonymous, were presented their prizes under the pseudonyms MAM and MDS. The first winner, MAM, took home 41,831,700 FCFA (€63,772) after placing a 400 FCFA stake on the Quinté+ bet for the June 29, 2025, national race 1. MDS received 23,820,200 CFA (€36,313) from a 1,800 FCFA stake on the Quinté bet for the July 7, 2025, national race. Combined, the duo won 65,651,900 FCFA (€100,085) ranking among the biggest winners in LONACI history.
In his address, Ouattara congratulated the lucky winners on behalf of Dramane Coulibaly, director general of LONACI, and emphasised the convenience of playing the lottery games. He said: “It is possible to play all LONACI games without even moving, by telephone or via the internet. And if luck smiles on you, you can receive your winnings by Mobile Money.”
LONACI has positioned itself as a reliable national lottery operator that delivers on its promises while supporting social development projects. In 2024, the operator paid out 288.019 billion FCFA (€439m) in winnings to players.
