LONACI becomes competition sponsor for AFCON 2025 in Morocco
The National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire (LONACI) joins CAF to support 24 top African national teams in the AFCON tournament.
Côte d’Ivoire.- The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has listed the National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire (LONACI) among the official competition sponsors for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
The sponsorship highlights LONACI’s ongoing support for African football and its commitment to engaging fans across the continent.
LONACI appears alongside other recognised partners such as Rexona, Danone, Apsonic and Midea, helping to promote the tournament and engage fans across the continent.
AFCON will feature matches across six Moroccan host cities: Rabat, Casablanca, Fès, Tangier, Marrakech and Agadir. The tournament will include 24 national teams, including some of Africa’s biggest football nations such as host Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa and Kenya. These teams will compete in nine stadiums, promising a showcase of top-tier football talent and continental unity.
CAF General Secretary Véron Omba said: “AFCON is more than a football competition. It is a celebration of African unity, passion and excellence.”
LONACI previously supported African football as a National Supporter for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations held in Côte d’Ivoire. This reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to sports development and community engagement.
