Guinea’s National Lottery launches fourth scholarship programme for master’s students
LONAGUI is offering 15 fully funded master’s scholarships, including dedicated awards for women and disadvantaged students.
Guinea.- The National Lottery of Guinea (LONAGUI) has launched its fourth scholarship programme, offering 15 fully funded master’s scholarships as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.
LONAGUI said the initiative reflects its continued investment in education and youth development. “LONAGUI reaffirms its commitment to youth and education through its CSR programme. The LONAGUI scholarship is a scholarship programme initiated by LONAGUI in the execution of its CSR policy,” the lottery said.
Successful applicants will receive full tuition for Master I and Master II studies, together with a monthly maintenance allowance of GNF500,000 (US$58) for 10 months. LONAGUI is encouraging eligible students to seize the opportunity to continue their studies and advance their academic careers.
The application guidelines describe the scholarship as part of LONAGUI’s social investment programme. Applications are open until August 24 2026. A total of 15 scholarships will be awarded following a public application process, with recipients selected through a public draw.
The scholarships will be allocated across several categories, including dedicated awards for women and disadvantaged students. Ten scholarships will be awarded through the public draw, while three have been reserved for women. One scholarship will recognise the student presenting the strongest professional project or storytelling linked to Guinea’s SIMANDOU 2040 development programme, while another will be awarded to a candidate with a physical disability or a vulnerable social background.
Applicants must be Guinean nationals, under the age of 35, hold at least a bachelor’s degree with a “Bien” distinction-equivalent to an average mark of 14 out of 20-and demonstrate financial need.
