Ghana’s Leti Arts takes African gaming global with Karmzah
The Ghanaian studio’s upcoming title, Karmzah, showcases African storytelling and representation as it prepares for a global launch on Steam.
Ghana.- Ghanaian game studio Leti Arts is ready to take African gaming to the world. Its upcoming title, Karmzah, is set to launch a demo on leading digital platform Steam in November, with a full release planned for late 2026. Discussions are also underway for a potential Xbox version, opening the door to an international audience.
The game follows its main character, Morowa Adjei, an archaeologist with cerebral palsy who transforms into a superhero, blending fast-paced combat, tricky puzzles and African-inspired storytelling.
Leti Arts said, according to Games Industry Africa: “Representation starts not just with the characters on screen, but with who gets to build them.”
Karmzah first debuted as a comic in 2018 and has since expanded into other media, including the Fortnite mini-game ‘Karmzah: Blitz Racers’, where players race through Ghanaian landscapes battling fantastical creatures.

The studio showcased Karmzah at Gamescom 2025, Europe’s largest gaming fair, highlighting Africa’s growing presence in the global gaming industry. According to Leti Arts, “Karmzah is a side-scrolling action-adventure game full of rapid combat and exciting platforming”.
With its global launch on the horizon, Karmzah positions Leti Arts as a major player in international gaming, proving that African creativity, culture and storytelling can shine on the world stage.
