Benin lottery steps up digital expansion with Loto 5/90 roadshow

LNB is combining retail activations with online gambling to drive awareness of its expanded lottery and betting portfolio.

Benin.- The National Lottery of Benin (LNB) is stepping up its digital expansion strategy through a nationwide campaign promoting its revamped Loto 5/90 lottery and online gambling platform, LNB Pari.

The latest stage of the roadshow reached Natitingou on June 24 before continuing to Abomey and Bohicon in July, where LNB showcased the redesigned Loto 5/90 alongside LNB Pari, which offers sports betting, casino games, virtual games and the Aviator crash game. The campaign is aimed at familiarising players with LNB’s expanded gaming portfolio and digital services through demonstrations of its revamped lottery products and online platform, according to Matin Libre.

The nationwide campaign follows the relaunch of Loto 5/90, which introduced a Double Chance feature that gives players an additional opportunity to win, while moving the evening draw from 9pm to 8pm from June 15 as part of LNB’s modernisation programme.

The roadshow has already visited Cotonou, Porto-Novo and Parakou, combining retail activations with demonstrations of LNB Pari as LNB seeks to increase awareness and adoption of its digital gaming products across Benin.

The campaign also supports LNB’s broader modernisation and digital transformation strategy, priorities highlighted by Director General Marius Adanzounon following his appointment on June 16.
