Benin National Lottery boosts Loto 5/90 with Double Chance launch

New feature gives players two winning routes from a single ticket as the operator strengthens daily engagement and repeat participation.

Benin.- Benin’s National Lottery (LNB) has launched a new Double Chance feature for its Loto 5/90 digital game, giving players an additional opportunity to win from a single ticket as the operator looks to strengthen daily participation across its retail lottery network.

The feature officially launched on April 13, with LNB publishing its campaign on its official website under the headline “Helping you win more is one of our missions,” positioning the launch as part of a broader effort to make lottery play more attractive while maintaining the simplicity of its traditional format.

Promoted with the slogan “One bet, two chances to win”, the feature allows players to win if their selected numbers appear either among the first five numbers drawn or among the last five numbers drawn during the designated Loto 5/90 draw. This creates two possible winning zones from a single stake without requiring players to buy a second ticket.

Double Chance drives retention

The Double Chance option applies only to the daily 2pm draw and is available seven days a week. Players must specifically request the feature from an authorised lottery agent when placing their ticket, as it is not automatically included with every Loto 5/90 bet.

LNB also clarified that all selected numbers must fall entirely within either the first five numbers drawn or the last five numbers drawn for the ticket to qualify as a winner. If the numbers are split between both groups, the entry is considered a losing ticket.

The product moved quickly into live operations, with official April results already showing active Double Chance draws including Double Chance 062/26 and Double Chance 065/26, indicating the feature is intended to support regular repeat participation rather than function as a limited promotion.

The launch reflects LNB’s wider strategy to improve customer retention through accessible product innovation while preserving the simplicity that drives mass-market lottery participation.
