At SBC Summit Lisbon, Focus Gaming News caught up with Jaime Carvajal, Senior Sales Manager at 1spin4win, to discuss the company’s slot strategy, regional focus and how it differentiates itself in an increasingly crowded market.
Carvajal explained that 1spin4win continues to build its growth around classic slots, resisting the trend of launching crash or alternative titles. “It's been a very active year. So, 1spin4win keeps going with the same strategy as before. Pretty focused on the classic slots,” he said.
The company’s latest release, Great Hawk Hold and Win, was the centrepiece of its Lisbon stand. Positioned as the successor to Don Catleon, the new title continues 1spin4win’s storytelling approach, combining classic mechanics with engaging narratives. “Storytelling is being very handy in that sense, because it's something that you can always create. So, instead of repeating something that somebody's doing, we're doing our own,” Carvajal noted.
Latin America remains a particularly strong market for classic-style slots, with Carvajal highlighting countries such as Ecuador, Paraguay, Argentina and Mexico. While closely monitoring Brazil’s regulatory developments, the company is actively expanding across the region, alongside a strong presence in Europe.
Carvajal also emphasised the role of industry events in 1spin4win’s strategy. “These kinds of events are key for growth strategy. I mean, we participate in different events all around the globe [...] Next step will be Rome for SiGMA. So, we are heading there after this one, and after you have ICE. So, it's been dynamic, and next year it's going to be even more dynamic,” he said.
Beyond releases, 1spin4win is focused on delivering value to partners through exclusive pre-releases, branded games and tailored promotional actions. For Carvajal, this is about loyalty and building long-term relationships: “It’s not only about updating games, but also helping [our partners] in the development.”
