Yggdrasil appoints Frida Gustafsson as first CFO

Frida Gustafsson will be Yggdrasil’s first ever Chief Financial Officer, a new role which was created following its recent months’ expansion.

Malta.- Yggdrasil Gaming announced the appointment of Frida Gustafsson as its first ever Chief Financial Officer, a new role created following its expansion in recent months.

Gustafsson joins Yggdrasil from Netent, where she served as finance manager for tax and new markets. In her new role at Yggdrasil, Gustafsson will be based at the company’s headquarters in Malta.

“As Yggdrasil grows, it is important we assemble a world-class team of executives and Frida is one of the sharpest financial minds in gaming,” said Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive of Yggdrasil. “She will be a huge asset as we continue to expand as a company.”

On her part, Gustafsson said: “Everyone in our industry knows about Yggdrasil, and from what I’ve seen already there is an opportunity for massive growth over the coming years. I look forward to being a part of the company’s ongoing success story.”
