XLMedia appoints Caroline Ackroyd as CFO

Caroline Ackroyd was formerly finance director at Sky Betting & Gaming.

UK.- The gaming affiliate group XLMedia has appointed Caroline Ackroyd as CFO. The appointment will mark Ackroyd’s return to the gaming sector. She served as director of commercial finance at Sky Betting & Gaming for almost four years between July 2015 and Nov 2018 and before that was finance director at the Gala Coral Group subsidiary Coral Interactive.

Ackroyd is currently CFO at the AIM-listed media consultancy Jaywing Plc. She will join XLMedia after serving six months’ notice. She will also join XLMedia’s board.

XLMedia’s interim CFO Rowan Ellis will return to his role as a financial consultant and will work alongside Ackroyd on the handover.

Earlier this year, XLMedia acquired Saturday Football for $23m cash plus $1m in long-term incentive shares as it aims to expand in the US.
