William Hill to arrive in New Mexico
After sports betting was legalised, William Hill targeted New Mexico and has already struck a sportsbook deal with the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino.
US.- Sports betting continues to expand in the US and international companies want to jump in. That’s why William Hill targeted New Mexico’s recently legalised market and struck a deal with the Mescalero Apache Tribe.
The company launched its sportsbook at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino. Tribe’s President Arthur Blazer and Vice President Gabe Aguilar bet US$100 for the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl.
The new sportsbook features 12 43-inch televisions and high-top seating. The newly renovated space provides guests with a place to gather with friends and enjoy the upcoming football season.
In an earlier statement, David Grolman, President of Retail for William Hill US, celebrated the deal.
“Working with the Mescalero Apache Tribe and the National Indian Gaming Commission on this partnership agreement was important to us. Inn of the Mountain Gods is one of the premier resorts and casinos in the southwest and together we plan to bring a first–class experience to sports fans in the region,” he said.
The segment continues to expand in the country after the SCOTUS struck PASPA down and it’s already thriving.
