William Hill appoints new CFO

William Hill has announced that it has appointed Adrian Marsh as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

UK.- William Hill has revealed the appointment of Adrian Marsh as the company’s next Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will join the Company and be appointed as an Executive Director to the William Hill Board later in the year.

As announced last month, the company’s current CFO, Ruth Prior, will be leaving William Hill to join Element Materials Technology. Mash will join William Hill from DS Smith Plc, an international packaging business where he has been Group CFO for the past seven years, during which time the Company transitioned from the FTSE 250 to the FTSE 100. He is a Non-Executive Director of John Wood Group PLC and chair of its Audit Committee.

CEO Ulrik Bengtsson said: “I am delighted to welcome Adrian to the Board. As a proven CFO of a FTSE-listed company with M&A, deal execution and multi-sector finance experience in US & European markets, he will be able to make a significant contribution to William Hill in the enablement of the strategy and is a great addition to the team.”

Adrian Marsh commented: “I am extremely excited to be joining William Hill at such a key time in the Company’s history, and look forward to supporting Ulrik and the rest of Board in delivering their growth plans for the future.”

William Hill pens deal with CBS Sports

William Hill CBS Sports have announced a strategic partnership that makes William Hill the Official Sports Book and Wagering Data Provider across all CBS Sports platforms. The deal aims to reinvent fan engagement.

This strategic partnership seeks fan engagement reinvention through a unique integration of sports betting, media, product and technology. The partnership will kick-off with initial integrations in March on CBS Sports digital platforms, with a full rollout planned for the fantasy football season.

CBS Sports will utilise William Hill’s odds, experts and more than 140 sportsbooks to bolster its current digital offerings, delivering deeper information and programming produced from William Hill sportsbooks across the country, and further engaging sports bettors and fans. In addition, the partnership includes opportunities to feature William Hill data, odds and markets across CBS television programming.

William Hill will receive exclusive rights to promote its brand across CBS Sports’ broad range of digital properties, including through CBS Sports Fantasy, one of the largest fantasy platforms in the world, resulting in highly efficient customer acquisition for the sports betting company.
