Wildhorse Resort & Casino announces details of $100m expansion

The two-year project includes a 10-storey hotel tower, a convention centre and restaurants.

US.- The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation have announced more details of a $100m expansion of Wildhorse Resort & Casino in Oregon. Already in progress and slated for completion in 2027, the expansion includes a 10-storey hotel tower with 214 rooms, almost doubling the total room count to more than 400.

It will also include15,000 square feet of event and convention space and new restaurants. The venue intends to increase the frequency of entertainment performances.

George, CEO of Wildhorse Resort & Casino, said: “We want to create more memorable experiences through forward-thinking investments in areas that impact our guests as soon as they walk in our doors. A consistent, high-quality casino experience is the difference for consumers and the region. It is our position as tribal gaming leaders that enables our board and leadership team to invest resources that ultimately benefit the Tribe and the reservation.”

Caesars starts Oregon sports betting offering at Ko-Kwel Casino Resort

Caesars Entertainment has started accepting sports wagers in Oregon at Ko-Kwel Casino Resort in Coos Bay through its partnership with the Coquille Indian Tribe in Coos Bay. The ceremonial first bet was placed a self-service wagering kiosk. The venue, previously The Mill Casino, celebrated its 30th anniversary.
