Virginia casino revenue rises year-over-year in April
Gaming revenue was $99m, up 25.6 per cent year-over-year.
US.- The Virginia Lottery has released its report on casino gaming activity for April. Hard Rock Bristol, Rivers Casino Portsmouth, Caesars Virginia, The Interim Gaming Hall Norfolk, and Live! Virginia reported revenue of $99m, up 25.6 per cent year-over-year.
Of the total revenue, slots generated $75m and table games $24m. The state collected $17.8m in taxes paid to the Gaming Proceeds Fund.
According to the report, Caesars Virginia led the market with $33.5m in adjusted gross revenue (AGR): $26m from slots and $7.5m from table games. It was followed by Rivers Casino Portsmouth with $27.3m: $19m from slots and $8.2m from tables. Hard Rock Bristol reported $23.4m in AGR, with $18.4m from slots and $5m from table games.
Live! Casino Virginia, which opened in January, posted $13.8m in AGR ($10.5 from slots and $3.3m from table games). The Interim Gaming Hall Norfolk, which opened in November 2025, generated $958,255 from slots.
