Vermont sports betting handle increases year-over-year in July
The sports betting handle was up 55 per cent year-over-year.
US.- Vermont’s sports betting handle was $14.8m in July, up 5.7 per cent from June and up 55 per cent year-over-year. Adjusted gross wagering revenue was $1.3m and winnings totalled $13.4m, according to Vermont’s Department for Liquor and Lottery.
Of the total handle, $9m was bet in Vermont and $5.8m out of state. There were 6,313 active users in the state and 5,176 out of state. The number of bets reached 421,141, with 328,902 in Vermont and 92,239 out-of-state.
Baseball led the market with $3.7m in bets, followed by table tennis with $2.2m and tennis with $1.96m. ebasketball generated $1m and soccer $997,825.
