Ute Mountain Casino opens sportsbook in Colorado
The casino is powered by IGT’s PlaySports platform.
US.- Ute Mountain Casino Hotel in Colorado has opened its retail sportsbook powered by IGT’s market-leading PlaySports platform.
The sportsbook has three betting stations and four self-service kiosks, as well as a betting cage for larger wagers. It plans to launch the mobile sportsbook application UteBet, a week or two after the NFL season kicks off.
General manager Rick Scheer said: “This passion project has been our best-kept secret over the past year, as we’ve persevered through the global pandemic and brought together all the moving parts in order to make this happen.”
Sportsbook manager Jay Petrick said: “Our goal is to create the ultimate betting experience by fusing the world-class services provided by IGT with the local essence of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe.”
Sports betting in Colorado was legalised in November 2019.
