Underdog to cease operations in North Carolina

The operator will stop accepting wagers next week.

US.- The North Carolina State Lottery Commission has announced that Underdog Sports Wagering will cease operations in the state. The operator will stop accepting wagers on December 16 and settle settle all outstanding wagers by December 18.

The Commission said the operator is contacting account holders and has published a FAQ to answer questions.

The North Carolina regulator’s sports wagering revenue report for November showed that the state’s eight licensed interactive sports wagering operators took a $814m handle, up 24 per cent year-over-year and 0.3 per cent from October. Winnings totalled $717.6m and gross wagering revenue $93m.
