UAE Lottery records 4,034 winners

The Saturday draw in April highlighted strong participation as the operator shifted from a single weekly jackpot to more frequent prize opportunities.

The UAE Lottery recorded 4,034 winners in a single Lucky Day draw on April 18, days after expanding the game to a twice-weekly schedule, as the operator strengthens its push for more regular prize opportunities across the country’s regulated lottery market.

The flagship Lucky Day game moved to Wednesday, and Saturday draws from April 8, doubling the number of weekly draws while keeping the overall prize structure unchanged.

In the April 18 draw, three Lucky Chance winners each secured Dh50,000 (US$13,600), while 37 players won Dh1,000 (US$272) and 3,994 players took home Dh100 (US$27.20), according to Khaleej Times, bringing the total number of winners to 4,034. Both the Dh30m (US$8.2m) jackpot and the Dh5m (US$1.36m) second prize rolled over to the next draw, giving players another shot at the top prizes.

The current structure keeps the Dh30m (US$8.2m) jackpot and Dh5m (US$1.36m) second prize in place, while tickets continue to cost Dh50 (US$13.60) per entry. The draw also retains its Lucky Chance feature, guaranteeing three winners of Dh50,000 (US$13,600) in every game.

From December 2025, following its first-anniversary revamp, the UAE Lottery moved away from its previous model of offering a single Dh100m (US$27.2m) jackpot, replacing it with a smaller Dh30m (US$8.2m) top prize alongside a Dh5m (US$1.36m) second-tier win, aimed at creating more frequent winning opportunities and stronger regular player engagement.

The updated structure had already shown strong participation in early 2026, when one Lucky Day draw produced 8,299 winners – the highest number recorded in a single draw since the platform launched. Ticket sales for Lucky Day now close at 8 pm, with the live draw broadcast at 9:30 pm.

Lucky Day first launched on December 14 2024, as the flagship product of the UAE’s regulated national lottery platform. Alongside it, the operator also runs Pick 3 and Pick 4, expanding its portfolio of number-based games.
