UAE Lottery expands Lucky Day draw to twice-weekly schedule

UAE Lottery expands Lucky Day draw to twice-weekly schedule

With new draws on Wednesdays and Saturdays, players now have double the chance of winning the Dh30m jackpot.

The UAE Lottery has expanded its flagship Lucky Day game to a twice-weekly draw schedule, with the new cadence starting today (April 8).

Under the updated structure, Lucky Day draws now take place every Wednesday and Saturday, doubling the number of weekly draws while keeping the prize structure unchanged, according to Khaleej Times.

The move builds directly on strong participation reported earlier this year, when the revamped Lucky Day draw awarded prizes to 8,299 players in a single game, the highest single-draw winner count since the platform launched.

The Dh30m (US$8.2m) jackpot and Dh5m (US$1.36m) second prize remain in place, while ticket prices continue at Dh50 (US$13.60) per entry. The draw also retains the Lucky Chance bonus feature, awarding Dh50,000 (US$13,600) to three winners in each draw. Ticket sales close at 8 pm, with the live draw broadcast at 9.30 pm.

The expanded schedule follows a series of recently introduced changes when the lottery revamped the Lucky Day format. The update replaced the previous biweekly Dh100m (US$27.2m) jackpot model with a weekly draw offering a Dh30m jackpot and Dh5m second prize, a shift designed to deliver more frequent wins across multiple prize tiers.

Lucky Day first launched on December 14, 2024, as the main game of the UAE’s regulated national lottery platform. Alongside the flagship draw, the platform also offers additional number-based games such as Pick 3 and Pick 4, forming part of a broader digital lottery portfolio.
