UAE Lottery appoints Brett Lee as chief celebration officer

UAE.- The UAE Lottery has announced the appointment of former Australia fast bowler Brett Lee as its chief celebration officer, placing the cricket star at the centre of its winner and community engagement activities.
In the newly created position, Lee will meet winners across The UAE Lottery’s portfolio and learn how they intend to use their prizes. He will also take part in winner interviews, community appearances and fan engagement activities across the UAE.
The role will see Lee share stories about winners and their experiences while promoting responsible participation. The UAE Lottery said his international sporting career, professionalism and sportsmanship were factors in selecting him for the position.
Lee spent more than a decade representing Australia and was one of the leading fast bowlers of his generation. His international career included major tournament successes and appearances across Test, one-day international and Twenty20 cricket.
Lee’s appointment comes shortly after he became the first brand ambassador for Play971, UAE’s sole licensed sports betting platform. The partnership includes fan engagement activities and activations targeting sports audiences across the UAE.
