Wynn Al Marjan Island appoints Dominique Wingrove as manager of entertainment marketing
Wingrove said she was initially drawn to the project by its scale, vision, and the people behind it.
Wynn Resorts has named Dominique Wingrove as manager of entertainment marketing at Wynn Al Marjan Island, the UAE’s first integrated resort with gaming advances. The appointment comes amid ongoing challenges in the region, which saw her first day take place remotely due to the current situation in the UAE. Despite the unconventional start, she said the experience reinforced her confidence in the organisation and its leadership.
In a LinkedIn post, Wingrove said she was initially drawn to the project by its scale and vision. Regarding the recruitment process, she said: ‘From my very first interview, I knew this was something special.’
Wingrove also said that what stood out most was observing how the leadership team responded to the challenges currently unfolding in the UAE, highlighting what she described as a steady and thoughtful approach to supporting employees during uncertain circumstances. “The true measure of a company isn’t what it says about itself, it’s how it shows up for its people when things are uncertain,” she added.

While acknowledging that the timing of her start may not have been typical, she described it as a defining moment to join the organisation. Wingrove added that she feels both grateful and excited about the opportunity, while also recognising the responsibility that comes with being part of such a high-profile project.
The Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah is expected to be completed in 2027.
The resort, a partnership with RAK Hospitality Holding, is under construction, and a 70-storey tower has reached the 45th floor. The beachside property will be the tallest in Wynn’s portfolio and will have 22 restaurants, beach clubs, a marina, a spa and entertainment.
