Table games revenue falls in Pennsylvania

Revenue from table games decreased 1.3% during November operations when compared to last year’s numbers.

US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) released on Monday the latest financial figures, which indicate that table games revenue for November 2018 was US$71.2 million, or a 1.3% decrease year-over-year.

The results from November 2018 represent a decrease of 1.3% over November of last year, when revenue was US$72.2 million. The Board also reported that when combining November’s table games revenue with the earlier reported increase in November’s slot machine revenue, total gaming revenue increased by 0.3% compared to November of last year.

The report also showed the tax revenue from table games during November, in which the total amount was US$11.4 million with an average of 1,285 tables in daily operation statewide.

Total gaming revenue in the state totalled US$254.3 million, up 0.3% from the US$253.5 million registered in November 2017. The casino with the biggest percentage change was Parx Casino, which increased its revenues by approximately US$5 million, while Mohegan Sun Pocono suffered the biggest loss from US$19.1 million in 2017 to US$17 million in November 2018.
