Table games revenue drops in Pennsylvania

The PGCB revealed that revenue from table games in October decreased by 8% in the state.

US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) posted figures on its website indicating that table games revenue for October 2018 stands at US$66.5 million, which represents a decrease of 8.1% over October of last year when revenue was US$72.4 million.

The Board also reported that when combining October’s table games revenue with the earlier reported decrease in October’s slot machine revenue, total gaming revenue decreased by 3.5% compared to October of last year. The report also displays tax revenue from table games play during October in which the total amount was US$10.6 million with an average of 1,285 tables in daily operation statewide.

Earlier this month, the PGCB indicated that October’s gross revenue from slot machines at the state’s 12 casinos was US$186.2 million, a 1.7% decrease when compared to the US$189.5 million generated during the same month last year. Tax revenue from slots machines was US$97.1 million.
