STS names Ivan Gojić as chief sportsbook office
Gojić joins the company from its main competitor, Superbet Group.
Poland.- STS, the biggest betting group in Poland has, announced the appointment of Ivan Gojić as chief sportsbook officer. He will also serve as vice president of Sportsbook.
Gojić joins the company, now part of Entain CEE, from its main competitor, Superbet. There, he worked as head of product development and risk management. STS said that Gojić will focus on management and strategic direction for sportsbook operations as it aims to further firm up its position in the Polish market.

STS CEO Radim Haluza said: “We warmly welcome Ivan to our team. He is an outstanding expert in trading, risk management, and broadly defined product development in the igaming sector. I’m confident that his experience and past achievements will help both STS and the entire Entain CEE Group stand out even more in their respective markets.
“Our goal is to continuously improve our product and offering to strengthen the position of our companies in Poland and Croatia. Ivan’s support will certainly help us implement the #united strategy more effectively.”
Gojić said: “It’s hard to call it work when you’re doing something you love. It all started over 20 years ago—first from the perspective of a professional player, and later through a career that began and evolved in various roles at Ladbrokes.

STS has its headquarters in Katowice. It has over 400 retail betting shops and a market share of more than 51 per cent of the Polish sports betting market. It has over 1,500 employees.
Entain CEE, a joint venture with the Czech private equity group EMMA Capital, bought STS Holding for £750m in 2023. Entain CEE later went on to buy SuperSport in Croatia to expand its presence in the central and eastern Europe region.
For 2024, Entain CEE reported net gaming revenue (NGR) of £488m and EBITDA of £171m.
