Stratosphere Las Vegas allowed to open at 100% capacity
The STRAT Hotel has been added to the list of casinos allowed to operate at full capacity after showing authorities most of its staff have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
US.- The STRAT Hotel, known as the Stratosphere Las Vegas, has announced that the Nevada Gaming Control Board has granted it permission to return to 100 per cent capacity after more than 80 per cent employees were vaccinated.
According to the vice president and general manager Stephen Thayer, masks will still be required for workers and guests at the venue.
STRAT Hotel and casino was bought by Golden Entertainment Inc in 2017. It boasts the tallest tower on Las Vegas Boulevard at 1,149 feet (350 metres) with a 360-degree rotating dining room.
Other casinos that have already been allowed to return to full capacity are the Wynn Las Vegas, Encore and Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The venues have also removed physical distancing limits and the clear plastic separators from gambling tables.
