Station Casinos supplies tech and odds to Mesquite Entertainment in Nevada
The company’s sports technology and odds have been added at CasaBlanca Resort, Casino, Golf & Spa and Virgin River Hotel & Casino in Mesquite.
US.- Station Casinos has announced an agreement with Mesquite Entertainment to bring Station Casinos’ STN Sports technology and odds to CasaBlanca Resort, Casino, Golf & Spa and Virgin River Hotel & Casino in Mesquite, Nevada. The deal went live after approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Commission and Mesquite’s City Council.
Jason McCormick, vice president of Race and Sports Operations at Station Casinos, said: “We’re proud to expand our footprint in the Silver State through this partnership with Mesquite Entertainment. These new STN-powered Sportsbooks bring our innovative betting technology, enhanced odds, and mobile betting solution delivering convenient betting options for sports fans in Mesquite and nearby towns.”
Earlier this year, Station Casinos opened the Seventy Six Tavern’s second location in North Las Vegas. The venue located in Aliante Parkway will opened to the public on January 23.
Nevada gaming revenue drops slightly in March
The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) reported that the state’s casinos generated $1.28bn in gaming revenue in March. That’s a decrease of 1.1 per cent year-on-year, but an increase compared to February’s revenue of $1.21bn. Nevada saw the largest sports betting handle in 16 months due to March Madness.
Slots accounted for $918.8m of all revenue, up 5 per cent compared to March 2024. Table, counter and card games revenue decreased by 9 per cent to $357.4m.
