Station Casinos announces upgrade

The company revealed that Palace Station will undergo a US$200 million face-lift.

US.- Station Casinos revealed that it will spend US$200 million on a face-lift for the Palace Station facility located in Las Vegas. The property that launched operations 41 years ago will receive a revamp “from head-to-toe.”

Lori Nelson, Station Casino’s vice president of corporate communications, said: “Palace Station is being redone from head-to-toe.” Last spring, the facility inaugurated a new casino and a new bingo hall as well. Outside the venue there’s construction work to bring to life two new restaurants and a nine-screen theater, which are expected to be finished sometime during the last months of 2018.

“It’s strategic location off Sahara just west of I-15 really lends itself nicely that if you create a product that’s appealing to both locals and tourists alike, you can really capitalise on the fabulous location,” Nelson said to News3lv.

Moreover, Palms, which was bought by Palace Station in May 2016 for US$313 million, will also undergo a revamp: “A lot of new entertainment, culinary and nightlife is coming to the Palm,” announced Nelson.
