US.- One Las Vegas casino has created an innovative solution to lockdown measures, offering mobile sports betting in a drive-thru format at its premises.
South Point Hotel Casino will allow punters to access its drive-thru sportsbook between 11 am and 6 pm from today.
Bettors will not be allowed to leave their cars as they drive through the valet entrance of the casino.
But they will be able to use the brand new South Point Sports app on-site, betting on a range of events including UFC 249 this weekend and the return of NASCAR in mid-May.
Almost all sports have been out of action in the US, with some high-profile NFL games that were due to be played overseas having to be rescheduled on US soil.
