Overseas NFL games moved back to US

Games set to take place in the UK and Mexico will be moved back to the USA due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

US.- Games from the NFL that were due to be played overseas have been rescheduled on US soil because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Five NFL games were set to be played in London and Mexico City later this year but will now be played at the stadiums of the host teams.

Two home games from Jacksonville Jaguars were scheduled at Wembley Stadium in London and two at Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium, with the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins as hosts.

Meanwhile in Mexico, the Arizona Cardinals were set to be the home team for the game at the Azteca Stadium in the capital.

The NFL itself will be releasing its schedule for the upcoming season this week but dates will be dependant on the Coronavirus crisis.

It is estimated that teams could loose as much as $100million in revenues if fans are not allowed at games.

In Nevada, MGM Resorts has suggested the NBA and NFL could finish their respective seasons in a quarantined area of the Las Vegas strip.
