South Dakota casino gaming handle increases year-over-year in November

Wagers totalled $115.1m, up 10.2 per cent year-over-year.

US.- South Dakota casino wagers reached $115.1m in November, up 10.2 per cent year-over-year but down 26.1 per cent from October.

According to the Department of Revenue, $107m of the handle came from slots, which increased 10.6 year-over-year. Table games generated $7m, up 0.9 per cent. Taxable adjusted gross revenue totalled $10.6m.

The sports betting handle was $1.2m, up 18.9 per cent from the same month in 2024. The National Football League (NFL) generated a handle of $460,275, followed by the NCAA FB with $455,111 and the NBA with $56,215.

For the year-to-date, wagers stand at $1.5bn, up 2.7 per cent. Of the total, $1.4bn came from slot machines and $86m came from table games. The sports betting handle was $9.6m.
