Seneca Resorts partners with NHL team
The NHL franchise Buffalo Sabres has named Seneca Resorts & Casinos its exclusive sportsbook.
US.- Seneca Resorts & Casinos has announced a partnership with the NHL franchise Buffalo Sabres. The casino company has become the exclusive sportsbook partner of the hockey team from New York.
This new deal expands the existing partnership between Sabres’ parent company Pegula Sports & Entertainment and Seneca Resorts. Earlier this year Pegula had signed a similar deal with Seneca Resorts for its other sports franchise Buffalo Bills, the NFL team.
According to Sports Business, sports betting at the three gaming properties from the casino company will kick off in the next few weeks. The three casinos are Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, and Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino.
“The Seneca Sports Lounge has become a popular destination for premium ticketholders at KeyBank Center this season,” said Dan Misko, Pegula Sports & Entertainment’s senior vice president of business development. “We look forward to the opening of the sports lounges at Seneca’s three properties, which will create another attraction for Bills and Sabres fans. We’re proud to continue to work together with Seneca Resorts and Casinos, the official sportsbook partner of the Buffalo Sabres.”

Senecas opened sportsbook at Sabres arena
The home of the Buffalo Sabres opened in October the sportsbook Seneca Sports Lounge. The sportsbook features 15 TVs, a sports ticker and space that allows ticket holders and Club Seat to interact while the Sabres are playing.
Seneca Nation President Ricky Armstrong said that both the tribe and the Buffalo Sabres have been driving forces behind building excitement in that section of Buffalo. “The Seneca Nation is happy to partner with the Buffalo Sabres.”
