Rhode Island sports betting handle reaches $54.9m in December
The handle increased by 141.3 per cent from the same month in 2020.
US.- Rhode Island has registered a sports betting handle of $54.9m for December, an increase of 4.1 per cent from November’s $52.7m and 141.3 per cent from December 2020 ($22.8m).
Online sports betting accounted for $31m, up 7.9 per cent from November’s $28.7m and 68.9 per cent compared to the same period in 2020 ($18.3m). Rhode Island posted $1.2m in sports betting revenue, down 82.4 per cent from November’s record $6.7m and 53.5 per cent from December 2020.
December´s video lottery terminal income was $36.4m, up 1.4 per cent from November. Table games revenue was $10.3m, down 6 per cent from the previous month. In 2021 as a whole, the state took $454.5m in bets. The state’s online handle for the year was $241.1m, while revenue for the year was $38.8m.
