Primorye to feature 11 casinos by 2023
The vice governor of Primorye has revealed that the gambling zone will feature at least 11 casinos by 2023.
Russia.- Primorye has emerged in recent years as one of the gambling zones in Europe. Thus, the local government has been pushing for the development of more facilities, and will likely feature at least 11 casinos by 2023.
Vice Governor Konstantin Shestakov has revealed that by 2023, Primorye will have at least 11 casinos, and the investment will rise to US$1.2 billion. By the end of 2020, at least three casinos will be functional
“We have entered the final stage of constructing two new entertainment complexes with casinos in the gambling zone,” said Shestakov. “An investor from Cambodia is completing an 11-story hotel with a casino and a concert hall, while a Russian investor, Shambhala CJSC, will launch its casino tentatively in March 2020. Workers are already finishing the building.”
Back in 2015, Tigre de Cristal opened the first casino in Primorye, and has welcomed around 1.5 million visitors ever since. It also brings significant money to the state coffers, which goes to the Primorye budget.
Diamond Fortune pushes for Primorye casino
Diamond Fortune’s Primorye casino would involve a €220 million investment and would open its doors in late 2020. Imperial used to be named Selena and will be the fourth facility to open in Primorye. It would join the Tigre de Cristal, Naga Vladivostok, and Shambala venues.
The development would include a hotel of at least 360 rooms. Furthermore, Diamond Fortune’s Primorye casino would be equipped with 50 gaming tables and 300 slot machines. That would include a mass gaming room, premium mass gaming room, and a VIP room.
