PointsBets to launch online casino in New Jersey

PointsBets has signed an agreement with Twin River World-wide Holdings, facilitating the launch of its online casino in New Jersey.

US.- The ten-year agreement will see PointsBet pay a proportion of their net gaming revenue to Twin River Worldwide Holdings.

The agreement is dependent on Twin River taking ownership of Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino, giving PointsBet the necessary licensing to launch its online casino.

Australia’s PointsBet already has a presence in New Jersey through an on-course partnership with Monmouth Park race track announced on June 10.

Discussing the new deal, president of product and technology Manjit Gombra Singh said: “PointsBet continues to innovate and iterate upon its proprietary technology profile and this agreement is yet another signal that PointsBet remains focused on providing a modern gaming experience for modern times.”

Providing all goes to plan, PointsBet will launch its online casino in New Jersey in the first half of 2021.
