Pennsylvania’s gaming revenue tops $300 million
The overall casino gaming revenue was 3.8 per cent up in Pennsylvania during March operations.
US.- According to figures released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Tuesday, combined gaming revenue for the 12 Pennsylvania casinos exceeded US$300 million for the first time.
The report details that March 2018’s gross table revenue was US$79.1 million, a slight decrease from the US$79.5 million total in March 2017. When combined with the earlier reported March slot machine revenue of $221 million, total gaming revenue was $300 million compared to $289 million last March, a 3.8 per cent increase.
The previous highest month for total gaming revenue was achieved in March 2013, when the state’s 12 casinos posted US$296.7 million. The total tax revenue collected from table games play during last month’s operations was $12 million, with an average of 1,268 tables in operation state-wide on a daily basis.
