Pennsylvania reports record gaming revenue for fiscal year 2024/2025
Combined gaming revenue reached $6.4bn.
US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has reported that combined gaming revenue generated during the fiscal year 2024/2025 reached a record $6.4bn. This figure consists of the revenue from casino slot machines and table games, igaming, sports wagering, video gaming terminals (VGTs) and fantasy sports contests.
The total surpasses the previous high of $5.8bn in 2023/2024. The resulting tax revenue for 2024/2025 was $2.7bn, up from $2.54bn.
Pennsylvania’s fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. The estimated amounts for revenue and taxes being reported are prior to any possible adjustments by the PA Department of Revenue. The PGCB recently reported that revenue in June was $544.6m, up 15.4 per cent year-over-year but down 9.5 per cent from May.
