Pennsylvania gaming revenue sets new record in March
The state regulator has reported revenue of $574.5m for the month.
US.- Pennsylvania’s combined revenue from regulated gaming and fantasy contests reached a record $574.5m in March, up 3.6 per cent year-on-year.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported that Retail slots revenue decreased by 2.4 per cent to $222.5m and retail table games revenue by 3.9 per cent to $81.9m. However, online gaming revenue increased by 24.6 per cent to $238.2m. Online slot revenue reached $179.5m, while internet table games revenue was $56.1m and online poker revenue $2.5m.
The sports wagering handle was $842.8m, 5.3 per cent above March 2024. Revenue decreased by 40 per cent year-on-year to $27m. Online sports betting generated $25.5m in revenue and retail wagering $1.4m.
Valley Forge Casino Resort brought in $9.4m from a handle of $328.5m, Hollywood Casino at the Meadows in Meadowlands $8.8m from $209.1m and Hollywood Casino Morgantown $1.9m from $78.2m.
Tax revenue generated through all forms of gaming and fantasy contests was $244.3m.
