Park MGM workers ratify collective bargaining agreement
Front desk workers have agreed to a two-year contract.
US.- Workers at Park MGM in Las Vegas have unanimously ratified a first collective bargaining agreement. The two-year contract covers 82 workers represented by Teamsters Local 986, providing higher wages, improved benefits and stronger workplace protections.
The deal covers front desk clerks, head cashiers, room controllers, lobby ambassadors and guest service representatives. According to the union, workers will receive a 10 per cent wage increase and an enhanced pension plan.
Tommy Blitsch, director of the Teamsters Convention, Trade Show, and Casino Division, said: “This agreement shows what’s possible when workers come together and organise. Strong contracts are built on solidarity, and this victory delivers real improvements that raise standards across the industry.”
