US.- Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas has named Kevin Glass as its new general manager following the departure of Stephan Thayer in June. Glass previously worked at the resort as VP of hospitality between 2001 and 2005 and returned in March as assistant general manager.
In his new role, Glass will oversee all operations at both Palms Casino Resort and Palms Place, a condo-hotel tower. Both venues are under the ownership and management of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation.

During his years away from Palms Casino Resort, Glass worked at Red Rock Resort, Green Valley Ranch, The Cosmopolitan, Sahara Las Vegas, and Park MGM.
Latisha Prieto, chair of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, said: “As much experience as Kevin brings, equally as important is that he brings heart to this role. Kevin has been with us since day one of our journey to becoming owners of Palms. His devotion to the team, guest experience and our Tribal culture makes him the ideal leader for Palms and Palms Place.”
Glass commented: “Having been part of the Palms family from its very beginning and again through its incredible new chapter with the San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority, I have seen firsthand the passion and dedication of our team. I look forward to leading with that same spirit as we continue to deliver unforgettable experiences for our guests and a workplace our team members are proud to call home.”
