Ottawa’s Rideau Carleton Raceway Casino reopens

Slot machines and electronic table games are now available.

The Rideau Carleton Raceway Casino has reopened for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Slot machines and electronic table games are available at the casino. Table games are not be available during the first phase of the reopening.

All guests will have to wear face masks inside the casino. Dining and beverages will be available at Constant Grind, Caffe Italiano and Rendez-Vous Lounge.

The general manager of Rideau Carleton Raceway Casino, Helen MacMillan, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our guests back to a safe and sound and fun environment.”

Casinos are allowed to open in Ottawa at a maximum capacity of 50 per cent indoors. Casinos in Winnipeg and Casino Rama in Ontario opened with restrictions last month.
