Original Chicken Ranch Casino to reopen
The property has been renovated and will open its doors on March 1.
US.- The Original Chicken Ranch Casino, referred to as the OG, will reopen on March 1 at 10.00am. Apart from the bingo hall, the venue had closed in January 2025 for a remodel.
The gaming floor design has been renovated, and there will be more gaming machines and 16 electronic table games. Two restaurants are also reopening: The Roost Coffee Shop and Ranch House Restaurant.
Following the opening of the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in 2024, gaming at the original casino was reduced to roughly half of its capacity.
Joseph Mathiesen-Powell, tribal chairman, said: “The reopening of the OG is an exciting milestone. This refresh allows us to honor where we started while continuing to grow and improve the experience for our guests.”
In November, Hard Rock Casino Tejon opened in Kern County, California. The $600m venue is located less than 15 miles south of Bakersfield on Tejon Indian Tribal land.
