Ocean Casino Resort appoints Bill Callahan as general manager

Bill Callahan has been made general manager at Ocean Casino Resorts.

US.- Ocean Casino Resort has appointed Bill Callahan as general manager. Callahan has been interim chief executive officer since November 2021 and has also served as executive vice president (July 2021) and senior vice president (July 2020).

As general manager, Callahan will be tasked with the responsibility of running the casino and helping the company meet its financial targets and growth strategy while overseeing any legal and regulatory processes.

Callahan has 25 years experience in the casino industry. Before joining the Ocean Casino Resort, he worked at the Borgata casino, where he was vice president of relationship marketing at for 17 years. In that job, he was responsible for a team of executives that directed table games, slots, and Asian games marketing.

Bruce Dall, president of Ocean Casino Resorts, said: “Bill is a 25-year veteran of the gaming industry who has done a great job since joining the team at Ocean.

“He has been an integral part of enhancing the guest experience across the property, while helping to build the best hospitality team in the market. We are confident in Bill’s ability to lead Ocean forward as we become the premier gaming destination in Atlantic City.”

Ocean Casino Resort recently announced a $75m investment, including the addition of more than 460 guest rooms and suites. Ocean had announced $15m in property improvements last year, including a redesigned casino floor, featuring new high limit experiences.
