North Carolina sports betting handle rises in March
The handle increased 6 per cent year-on-year.
US.- The North Carolina State Lottery Commission has released its sports wagering revenue report for March. The state’s eight licensed operators reported a handle of $726.2m, an increase of 6 per cent year-on-year and up from $596.1m in February.
Winnings totalled $646.6m. Gross wagering revenue was $76m, generating estimated tax proceeds of $13.7m.
For the fiscal year to date (July 2025 to March 2026), wagering revenue was $5.7bn, and gross wagering revenue totalled $610.5m. Taxes totalled $109.9m.
