New York hasn’t banned anyone from casinos
The New York Gaming Commission explained no one has been banned from casinos in the state, which is why no list details their names online.
US.- The state of New York seeks to expand gambling to Manhattan and was startled to see no list with banned gamblers was available. However, the New York Gaming Commission clarified that it took no action against anyone, which is why no list exists.
State Law requires the commission to keep track of the “involuntary excluded”, but it had no records of any type. That’s why it clarified the situation after a Freedom of Information Law request.
“There is no ambiguity in the language provided in the appeal from the Public Records Access Officer,” said Brad Maione, director of communications at the Gaming Commission. “A review of Commission documents found that no such action has been taken.”
