New Jersey gaming revenue reaches $412.2m in February

New Jersey’s casinos, horse tracks and online operations saw revenue rise 10.4 per cent year-on-year.

US.- The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has reported on the state’s gaming revenue for February. The state’s casinos, horse tracks that offer sports betting and the online partners of both reported $412.2m, up 10.4 per cent compared to February 2022’s $373.3m.

The casino win for the nine Atlantic City casino hotel properties was $215m, up 1.2 per cent compared to $212.4m in February 2022. The online gaming win was $142.6, up 9.7 per cent year-on-year from $130m. Sports wagering gross revenue was $54.6m, a 76.9 per cent increase from $30.9m.

In terms of in-person casino revenue, Bally’s took $12.2m, up 14.3 per cent from last year; Borgata won $57.4m, up 8.8 per cent; Caesars $19m, up 1.4 per cent; Golden Nugget $11.1m, down nearly 14 per cent; Hard Rock $37.5m, up less than 1 per cent; Harrah’s $21.3m, up 8.1 per cent; Ocean $26.2m, down 11.5 per cent; Resorts $12.6m, down 2 per cent; and Tropicana $17.2m, down just under 1 per cent.

When internet and sports betting are included, Bally’s won $18.1m, up 49 per cent; Borgata $101.2m, up 7.4 per cent; Caesars $19.2m, up less than 1 per cent; Golden Nugget $47.8m, steady with last year; Hard Rock $44.4m, down less than 1 per cent; Harrah’s nearly $21m, up 7.4 per cent; Ocean $30.1m down 2.2 per cent; Resorts $12.6 per cent, down 5.4 per cent, and Tropicana $26.2m, up 0.5 per cent.

Among internet-only entities, Resorts Digital won $48.2m, up more than 25 per cent; and Caesars Interactive NJ $8.3m, down 17.5 per cent.
