The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has accepted Oddin.gg’s submission for a gaming licence.

US.-  The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has accepted a licence application from Oddin.gg, aprovider of live odds for esports. In line with the Casino Control Act, the licence allows the company to offer its esports betting solutions to operators in the state. The company plans to expand its presence in the US.

Vlastimil Venclik, CEO of Oddin.gg said: “We have reached the first milestone in our US market strategy. We intend to penetrate the market swiftly and expertly, both directly as license holders as well as through the existing network of our partners. Legal esports betting has been growing in the US and we aspire to become a catalyst for exponential growth.”

“With the guidance of Becky Harris, Senior Advisor to the board and former Chairwoman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, our vision is to become the thought leader for our licensed US partners.”

Last week, Esports Entertainment Group Inc (EEG) was approved by the New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement to begin operations in the state. This decision makes EEG the first esports operator to receive a transactional waiver in New Jersey.

The operator plans to launch its betting platform, VIE.gg, in the state following a five-day “soft play” period, during which certain limitations must be applied to the online experience to ensure proper regulatory operations.
