New Jersey casino revenue remains flat in Q1
Net revenue decreased by 0.6 per cent compared to the same quarter in 2025.
US.- The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has confirmed that casinos’ net gaming revenue for the first quarter of 2026 totalled $725.6m, down 0.6 per cent compared to the same quarter in 2025. Casino licensees reported gross operating profit of $104.7m, a 22.9 per cent decrease, while the occupancy rate at casino hotels was 64.6 per cent, up by 1.7 percentage points.
The DGE recently announced that gaming revenue across casinos, online gaming and sports betting in April totalled $600.8m. That’s a rise of 12 per cent from April 2025 and an increase from $596.4m in March 2026. The casino win for the nine casinos was $235.6m, an increase of 11.7 per cent year-over-year, while the online gaming win was $263.1m, up 11.9 per cent and sports betting gross revenue was $102.1m, an increase of 12.8 per cent.
For calendar year 2025, net revenue was $3.29bn, down 0.5 per cent compared to 2024. Gross operating profit was $681.6m, down 3.9 per cent.
